Juniper Healing is a proud partner to the Khula Natural Health Centre, uMkhanyakude District, KZN and Ncera Village, Eastern Cape.

The South African public healthcare system remains under-resourced, particularly as this relates to challenges associated with primary healthcare infrastructure in rural communities.

​

In response to this dire need, the Khula Natural Health Centre (“Khula”) was established and is registered as a non- profit, public benefit organisation in South Africa.

 

Khula’s vision is for the improvement of primary healthcare in rural communities of Southern Africa using safe and affordable Homeopathic medicine.

​

Khula was established in 2017, supported largely by private Swiss donors through the Khula Foundation in Switzerland. Today, Khula’s pilot clinic in uMkhanyakude District, Rural KZN has attended to over 40,000 patients, upskilled some 20 women from the local community and provided training internships to some 40 homeopathic doctors.

Khula continues to make a positive impact on the wellbeing of the uMkhanyakude communities and is committed to expanding its vision across other rural communities in Southern Africa.
